Violet Carr, the current Ms. Life Care at Life Care Center of Cleveland, Tennessee, turned 100 on April 28, 2018, and celebrated with a party.
Dozens of family members and friends came out to shower her with gifts and well wishes on this milestone birthday. And since she has an avid love of music (she used to play the fiddle and mandolin), she and three other ladies sang together during her party. A pianist provided music.
Of course, there were also finger foods and the traditional birthday cake.
“I thought it was great,” said Carr.
Her daughter, Helen Smith, added, “It was amazing! Life Care did great with the party.”
Carr is a former seamstress and pastor’s wife from Kansas. She was married to Chester Carr, and they have two children. She now has five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandkids.
